This ‘first home owner’ display home was designed for a youthful market. Although the space available was limited, the fixed joinery was designed to make the space feel large, with an open feel. The rangehood over the island bench could have visually ‘split’ the space, but by cladding with with a smoked mirror, it becomes a feature, and actually reflects the spaces around it, reducing its ‘bulk’.
The furniture is minimal in scale and quantity, but the fabrics and accessories are edgy, geometrics, with ‘fun’ splashes of colour!
